Situated in Summit Twp.,
Somerset Co., PA on a farm owned by the Consolidation Coal Company on the middle
hill (of the three hills) about 15 rods [82.5 yards] above buildings in full view of
Meyersdale. This farm was patented as the "Three Hills" and is one of the oldest
places in the County, having had 10 acres cleared in 1772.
